In a Facebook post, Joy expressed his concerns about the lack of rule of law in the country, citing the protesters’ demand for the expulsion of 41 journalists from the Press Club. He questioned why the government remained silent in the face of such actions.
Joy also claimed that his mother had not resigned from her post before fleeing to India. He argued that her hasty departure was due to the protesters’ advance towards her official residence.
