Guruvayur – Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani visited the Guruvayur temple. Mukesh Ambani arrived with his younger son Anand’s fiancee Radhika Merchant and Reliance Director Manoj Modi at around 5 pm on Saturday. He was received by Devaswom Chairman Dr. VK Vijayan, Managing Committee members C. Manoj, Ex-MP Chengara Surendran, KV Mohana Krishnan, Administrator KP Vinayan and Devaswom employees in front of the south footpath near Srivalsam Guest. Chairman Dr. VK Vijayan felicitated him.
“It’s been a while since I came here, and now I can come. very happy Thanks for the welcome.” – said Mukesh Ambani. Then reached the temple. Namaskar mandapa was lit by prayer in the nearby lamp. Saw Sri Guruvayoorappan with tears in his eyes. Tozhuthu Bhagavad was willing and won the Sayujyam. Then Mukesh Ambani and his team were given a prasad kit of Guruvayoorappan.
Mukesh Ambani asked the chairman about all the affairs of the temple and gave a check of 1.51 crores to the charity fund. Spent about 20 minutes in the temple. Mukesh Ambani will sympathetically consider providing assistance to Guruvayur Devaswom Multi Specialty Hospital. His response was in response to a petition given by Devaswom Chairman Dr. VK Vijayan seeking help for the project of starting a multi-specialty hospital in Guruvayur. The Devaswom Chairman spoke about this with Mukesh Ambani who visited the temple.
