“Atomic Heart 2 is already planned, and with a very high probability there will be a game,” said Alexey Makarenkov, retelling the developer’s answer to the corresponding question. According to the blogger, the studio is now working on the previously announced four additions to the first part of the game.
On March 11, the RBC agency published a review article about Atomic Heart, in which, among other things, they talked about investments in the game. A source in the video game market estimated the budget of Atomic Heart at no less than $25 million. In 2019, the studio stated that we were talking about “several million dollars.”
The Russian company Mundfish released Atomic Heart on February 21, 2023. Upon release, the game topped the sales rankings on the Steam platform. This is a first-person shooter with RPG elements. The action in Atomic Heart takes place in an alternative USSR.
