Municipal Police: The ASEP competition (allocation) has been released

Sent today, Monday, February 19, 2024at the National Printing Office long-awaited announcement 1K/2024 for filling 1,213 positions in the Municipal Police Corps. ASEP sent today the announcement in order to obtain a gazette, confirming it exclusive report of proson.gr and at the same time putting an end to the anxiety of thousands of candidates who have been waiting since last year for the publication of the announcement. According to information from proson.gr, the announcement for the Municipal Police will receive a gazette within the next ten days and the applications will “run” in March 2024.

In the announcement, as proson.gr has mentioned in many reports, there is age limit and physical criteria, while candidates will be asked to participate in a series of special examinations and tests. More specifically, only those who meet the age criteria and are in between will be able to participate of 20 and 35 years. It is worth noting that the age is measured based on the date of birth of each candidate and not the exact date. This practically means that they will be able to declare their participation in the announcement of the Municipal Police those born between January 1, 1989 and December 31, 2005.

Candidates for municipal police should also be at least tall 1.63 m for women and 1.70 m for men and have the mental and physical health, as well as the mental qualifications that enable them to perform the duties of their position. Candidates deemed suitable sanitary are subjected to sports tests. Candidates who succeed in the sports tests are submitted to psychotechnical tests and interview, in order to investigate in particular judgment, perception, adaptability to changing situations and demands, degree of readiness, self-control, emotional stability, and personality structure.

Which degrees/diplomas participate

Competition for the 1,213 positions in the Municipal Police will be strong, as any degree or high school diploma is accepted. More specifically, the standard by branch and specialty appointment qualifications of the special uniformed personnel of the municipal police are the following:

For the PE branch of the Municipal Police: The degree or diploma of any university department in the country or an academically equivalent or equivalent title from schools abroad.

For the TE branch of the Municipal Police: The degree or diploma of any TEI department in the country or an equivalent title from schools abroad

For the Department of Municipal Police: Any degree or diploma or baccalaureate of Vocational Specialty, Education and Training level 5 (IEK or Post-High School Year – Apprenticeship Class EPA.L.) the
Vocational Training level of post-secondary professional education IEK. the according to the article of proson Vocational High School (EPA.L.) or Vocational Specialty, Education and Training level 4 EPA.L. the
Technical Vocational School (T.E.E.) 2nd cycle of Studies the
