Popular performer, Caucasian Steve Wonder Murad Sadikh performed one of the most famous compositions of the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Aygun Beylar Tut ağacım (music – People’s Artist Aygun Samedzade, words – Zakira Allahverdiyeva), dedicating it to the memory of the singer, Day.Az reports.

Aygun Beylar was born on August 22, 1975 in Baku. She received her primary musical education at the music school at the Palace of Culture named after Sattar Bahlulzade (class of playing the nagara). At the age of 13 she becomes a soloist of the Azerbaijan State Children’s Philharmonic. It was during this period that her first performances on the professional stage took place, tours of foreign countries, various cities and regions of the country.

At the age of 20 (in 1995), having created the first professional musical group named after the legendary Shovket Alekperova, Aygun Beylar began extensive concert activity, including representing national art abroad. In 1998, Aygun Beylar entered the faculty of khanende (mugham performer) at the Azerbaijan State Conservatory (now the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli), where her teachers were famous masters Arif Babayev, Islam Rzayev, Agakhan Abdullayev and others.

In 2005, together with the mugham trio, Aygun Beylar became the winner of the International Folklore Festival in Samarkand (Uzbekistan). She performed concert programs in France, Spain, Morocco, USA, Great Britain, Russia, Turkey, Greece, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and other countries.

Aygun Beylar died on January 7, 2024.
