Representatives of Azerbaijan took half within the Worldwide Competition-Symposium “Shashmakom” in Dushanbe (Tajikistan), Azerbaijani composer Pikya Akhundova-Talybly informed Day.Az.
Within the part of the festival-symposium “Shashmaqom: Historical past and Concept” Azerbaijan was represented by Ph.D. in artwork historical past, composer Pika Akhundova-Talybly, Ph.D. in philology Fakhreddin Salim and Ph.D. in artwork historical past Leyla Muradzade.
On the gala live performance of the festival-symposium, held on the stage of the Tajik State Tutorial Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sadriddin Aini, Azerbaijani musicians carried out – Sadaf Budagova (khanende), Ismail Zulfugarov (tar), Rauf Masimov (kamancha) and Jafar Hasanov (nagara). Additionally, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Tajikistan Alimirzamin Askerov acquired representatives of the nation on the Shashmakom festival-symposium and congratulated them on their profitable performances.
