Entrepreneur Elon Musk announced the creation of a new AI company xAI
Billionaire Elon Musk announced the creation of a company called xAI, which will develop artificial intelligence (AI). “Announcing the Formation of xAI to Understand Reality,” he tweeted.
The fact that the American entrepreneur will launch his own start-up for the development of artificial intelligence was written by the Financial Times back in April, without specifying when Musk himself would announce this.
According to the AI project website, xAI is a separate company but will work closely with Twitter, Tesla and others. The mission of the development is “understanding the true nature of the universe.”
Musk’s xAI team includes a number of well-known AI experts who have worked on projects such as GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, AlphaStar, and others.
On July 14, Twitter Spaces will host a chat where users will be able to ask the xAI team all their questions.
