Mumbai:Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Police regarding apps that post photos of Muslim women without their permission and auction them off.
Similarly, a female journalist (Muslim) from Delhi has lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police with relevant evidence alleging that her photo was altered and incorrectly posted on the processor.
Owaisi MP has demanded action against the processor who uploaded the photos without their knowledge and insulted Muslim women. Congress MP Karthik Chidambaram has condemned.
Although not auctioned off by this processor, it aims to defame Muslim women. The processor, which comes under the names Sallidel and Pullibai, posted a photo of Muslim women and auctioned it under the title Deal of Day.
Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Police and demanded stern action against the processor. Priyanka Chaturvedi tweeted, “I spoke to Mumbai Police Commissioner, DCP criminal Rashmi Karandikar about the process of auctioning off Muslim women. An inquiry has been ordered into the matter. I request the Maharashtra Police DGP to intervene and take action. Those who run this sex and misogynistic internet should be arrested.

Mumbai Cyber Crime Police have launched an investigation into the matter. A Netizen commented, “You can see photos of Muslim women like this regularly being posted on Sally Deal and Bully Boy.”
The first such incident was reported in Delhi and UP last year but no major action was taken.
Meanwhile, a female journalist from Delhi has lodged a complaint with the Delhi CR Park Police alleging that a photo of her was altered and uploaded on the processor.
The journalist commented on Twitter, “They have changed my photo and posted it on the website. This is an attempt to slander Muslim women. Plenty on a website called Bullivai Muslim women The photos are misrepresented. This is unacceptable. Not only me but many women have been portrayed like this. This website seems to have been created with the intention of slandering Muslim women. I have lodged a complaint with the Delhi CR Park Police in this regard. ”
MP from AIMIM party. Assad Owaisi tweeted, “It is painful to slander Muslim women. Authorities have not taken any drastic action. Aswin Vaishnav, Delhi Women’s Commission should take action, ”she said.
Congress MP Karthi Chidambaram tweeted, “Defamation of Muslim women is a dangerous trend, a trend against a particular community. This is supported by the ruling government. ”
