The weather forecaster shared details about his impending divorce and the challenges of maintaining privacy while in the public eye.
- Šulija disclosed the divorce process is expected to conclude around 2026.
- He recounted an incident in trakai where his wife playfully silenced him due to his recognizable voice.
- Šulija has been increasingly seen in public with interrior designer Viktorija Mykolaitytė.
Šulija, who typically keeps his family life out of the spotlight, made the revelation when asked by the show’s host, Saugirdas Vaitulionis, about his wife’s reaction to his television work. “At the moment, there are changes happening in my personal life. I hope thay will end sometime in 2026,” he stated.
He then shared a humorous anecdote illustrating the difficulties of enjoying a normal outing with his wife. “But while we were still together, it would happen that, say, we’d go to Trakai, and she’d tap me on the back of the head and say, ‘Shhh, be quite.’ Provided that we’re quiet, we can still walk around like people, but as soon as I open my mouth-my trained voice carries far and is recognizable, and then half of Trakai turns around,” Šulija explained during the filming.
As his personal life evolves, Šulija has been spotted more frequently in public without his wife. Prior to the winter holidays, he attended a Christmas party for the TV3 show “Gero savaitgalio receptas” in vilnius, accompanied by interrior designer Viktorija mykolaitytė. The pair, who have been seen together on multiple occasions, posed for photographers while affectionately linking arms at the event.
