Urbani Nahariya remained the only team in the league that has not lost yet, when they defeated ASS 49:65 away. Ramat Hasharon, which suffered its first loss this season. Hapoel Hevel Modiin defeated Maccabi Hod Hasharon, Maccabi Ashdod lost at home to Ma’ale Adumim. Migdal Haemek surprised Elitzur Kiryat Ata.
AS Ramat Hasharon – Urban Nahariya 65:49
The relegated Premier League team is missing two games, but has won all its games so far, and went to an away game against a team that reached the same balance as its own – 0: 7. Nahariya started better and presented a murderous defense that absorbed 11 points in the first quarter, 12 in the second and 13 in the third and fourth. Stefan Branic was the guest’s outstanding, scoring 19 points in addition to 7 rebounds. Alex Chubarevich added a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds. On the other hand, Amit Bir Katz and Harel Dadon scored 12 each for the loser, but could not for the superiority shown by Nahariya.
Hapoel Migdal Haemek – Elitzur Kiryat Ata 90:95
Premiere victory this season for the host, and no small surprise. The lead still led at the end of the first quarter, but lost in all subsequent quarters en route to a second loss of the season. Rom Cornelius led the scoring with 21 points, with Tomer Asaig adding 19. Ryan Barber scored 16. At loser Amin Stevens shelled out 32 points but failed to help his teammates avoid a loss.
Maccabi Ashdod – Maccabi Ma’ale Adumim 83:69
The team from the port city continues to disappoint and recorded a home loss against Ma’ale Adumim, which is their first victory of the season. The visitors started great and won the first quarter 7:19. Maale Adumim foreigners Jaylen Kenti (24) and Kate Braxton (20) were the ones who set the tone when they scored 44 points in common. Joren Cohen scored 24 for the loser, who counts two wins in just six games she has played so far this season.
