Nalini was imprisoned for more than 32 years as a convict in the case of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s murder.
Six people, including him, were released by the Supreme Court on Friday (Nov. 11). Nalini, who came out of jail, spoke to the media today.
Then, “Priyanka Gandhi burst into tears when she met him in jail. They are still sad,” he said.
He continued, “Priyanka Gandhi met me in jail. Then he asked about his father. I also said what I could. The rest is his personal matter. This cannot be discussed here,” he said.

He also said, “He was very emotional when he met me and asked about his father. They cried,” he said.
It is noteworthy that Rajiv Gandhi’s daughter Priyanka Gandhi met Nalini in 2008 in Vellore Central Jail.
