Commenting that BNP is losing interest in politics, Awami League presidium member and textile and jute minister Jahangir Kabir Nanak said that they have no more political issues, they should repent to the people and come back to the country’s politics.

He said this on Wednesday (February 7) at the distribution ceremony of winter clothes among the cold-weathered at Shekerte of Adabar Police Station of Dhaka-13 Constituency.

He said, the work of this party is always to do conspiracy, by resisting their conspiracy, the people of the country spontaneously voted for Awami League in the national election on January 7. They now want to obstruct the development and progress of the country by conspiring. But Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has already established Digital Bangladesh, now she has set her sights on establishing Smart Bangladesh.

The minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, all-out efforts will continue to build Smart Bangladesh through the implementation of ‘Vision 2041’. If BNP-Jamaat conspires in this development of the country under the leadership of the Prime Minister, we will resist unitedly with the people.

Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League President Sheikh Buzlur Rahman, Organizing Secretary Azizul Haque Rana, Ward No. 30 Councilor Abul and other leaders and activists of local Awami League and affiliated organizations were also present in the winter clothes distribution ceremony.
