Nantes eliminated in the Champions League play-off by Plock on penalties

Nantes was eliminated on Thursday at home in the return leg of the Champions League on penalties by the Poles of Plock after having drawn (25-25) as in the first leg (32-32).

The Nantes, who needed a simple victory to see the quarter-finals, lost five shots on goal to four. They miraculously snatched the draw with a goal from Alexandre Cavalcanti 15 seconds from the end of the match.
