Through the Artemis program, the United States of America plans to ensure that its astronauts return to the moon by 2025. This was announced by the head of NASA Bill Nelson.

According to him, the first manned flight of the Artemis 2 mission should take place no earlier than May 2024. Therefore, the landing of a man on the moon will take place “at least until 2025.”

“However, this manned landing will be preceded by an unmanned landing on the moon – at some stage before the landing of people,” – explained Nelson.
