The Other Hand of God: A Cosmic Discovery

Now, 37 years later, NASA has unveiled the discovery of a celestial object that echoes the iconic goal: “the other hand of God.” This remarkable formation, nicknamed “the hand of God,” is a nebula located approximately 17,000 light-years away in the constellation Scorpius.
Using the NuSTAR space telescope and data from the Chandra observatory, NASA captured a stunning image of the nebula. This combined data provided scientists with a unique and valuable visual representation of the cosmic phenomenon.
The “other hand of God” is the result of a supernova explosion, leaving behind a cloud of gas and dust that expands rapidly. This discovery allows astronomers to gain insights into the processes that shape our universe.
