A scene recounted by a witness to the newspaper Le Bien Public: “The supporters were quietly following the match when a group of hooded ultras, dressed in black, around thirty, arrived in the stand, and attacked the Dijonnais . A supporter went to hospital because he was hit in the throat with a smoke bomb. A Martégal player who came to take a corner even came to tell us: But what’s going on? They’re not local guys. »
The Dijon club reacted in a press release published in the evening: “Following the cowardly and wanton attack suffered by our supporters in the parking lot of the Francis-Turcan stadium in Martigues, the @DFCO_Officiel wishes to provide them with its support and wishes a prompt recovery of the fan injured in the neck by a jet of smoke.
