French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejournet announced the transfer of proposals to the Lebanese authorities aimed at easing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah. Before his meeting with his Israeli counterpart Israel Katz in Jerusalem, Sejournet emphasized the importance of the proposals conveyed, identifying them as key to easing the situation.

“The Times Of Israel” writes about this.

Sejournet noted that France has close ties with Lebanon, where a significant number of French citizens live, and that the 2006 war was of particular significance for them. During his visit to Lebanon on Sunday, he met with officials, including politicians linked to Hezbollah.

According to French officials, Lebanese authorities are reacting positively to the proposals, indicating progress in the negotiation process. The proposals are based on ensuring the implementation of UN Resolution 1701, which requires the disarmament of Hezbollah south of the Litani River.

It is noted that Israel Katz expressed gratitude to France for its assistance in intercepting Iranian missiles and drones during a massive attack. He noted that this was an important signal demonstrating the prospects for future cooperation between the two countries.

Earlier, Kursor reported that the media named an organization that helps Hezbollah terrorists attack Israel. The terrorist group Hezbollah is actively collaborating with the Al-Fajr Force militants to attack Israel.
