Frankfurt, Germany – Investors now have nine modern exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to consider, expanding options across a range of investment themes, including Indian equities, compact-cap companies, semiconductors, quantum computing, cryptocurrency, and Euro-denominated corporate bonds. The additions, announced by Deutsche Börse on March 4, 2026, reflect a growing demand for diversified investment vehicles and exposure to emerging technologies. The new ETFs aim to provide investors with targeted access to specific market segments and innovative sectors, offering both growth potential and income opportunities.

The launch of these new ETFs brings the total number of ETFs, exchange-traded commodities (ETCs), and exchange-traded notes (ETNs) listed on Deutsche Börse to 2,746, 204, and 294 respectively. Deutsche Börse Xetra remains the leading European trading venue for these products, with an average monthly trading volume of around €26.9 billion, according to the exchange. This expansion underscores the continued popularity of ETFs as a flexible and cost-effective investment solution for both institutional and retail investors.

Focus on Emerging Markets and Technology

Among the new offerings, the WisdomTree India Earnings UCITS ETF stands out as a way to tap into the growth potential of the Indian economy. This ETF invests in companies listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that have generated at least US$5 million in earnings in the twelve months prior to annual rebalancing. The fund provides exposure to established, profitable Indian businesses. Investors interested in smaller companies can explore the Robeco NextGen Global Small-Cap Equity UCITS ETF, which actively manages a portfolio of small-cap stocks from industrialized nations, utilizing an AI-powered quantitative model to select investments based on factors like value, quality, and momentum.

The technology sector is also well-represented in this new lineup. The Boreas Solactive Quantum Computing UCITS ETF offers exposure to companies involved in the development of quantum computing technologies, available for trading in both Euro and US dollars. Meanwhile, the YieldMax Semiconductor Option Income UCITS ETF focuses on the global semiconductor industry, aiming to generate income by selling call options on its holdings. This strategy seeks to provide a regular stream of revenue in addition to potential capital appreciation.

Cryptocurrency and Fixed Income Options

The digital asset space is included with the CoinShares Hyperliquid Staking ETP, providing a straightforward way to participate in the performance of the Hyperliquid (HYPE) cryptocurrency. Notably, this ETN is 100 percent physically backed by the underlying digital assets, offering investors direct exposure to the cryptocurrency. For those seeking more traditional fixed-income investments, the Invesco EUR IG Corporate Bond Yield Plus UCITS ETF invests in Euro-denominated corporate bonds with an investment-grade rating, offering a potential source of stable income.
