The one-year-old Lab mix was found abandoned at a local mobile home park and has captured the hearts of the shelter staff with his spirited personality.
A Unique Personality Shines Through
Stomper, weighing 37 pounds, is described as a medium-sized dog with a striking tan coat and captivating eyes. But it’s his personality that truly sets him apart. According to shelter staff, Stomper “prances like a show pony – he is quite the high stepper!” His antics provide constant entertainment, and his inherent curiosity means he’s always observing his surroundings.
He is reported to be well-suited for a home with other dogs and children, though a household with cats would not be a good fit. This dashing young dog is eager to bring joy and companionship to his future family.
Affordable Adoption and Comprehensive Care
The Prattville Autauga Humane Society (PAHS) offers affordable dog adoption fees of $120. This fee includes essential veterinary care, ensuring a healthy start for the adopted pet. PAHS provides a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, and age- and law-required vaccinations. A courtesy veterinary exam at participating offices is also included.
Furthermore, all animals are either spayed/neutered prior to adoption, or adopters receive a discount certificate to cover the cost of the procedure at participating veterinary clinics. PAHS confirms that, unless otherwise noted, all dogs have tested negative for heartworm.
