New Malayalam Release: Two more Malayalam films are hitting theaters tomorrow. Anoop Menon and Surabhi starrer ‘Padma’ and Soubin Shahir starrer ‘Ilaveezhapoonchira’.
Ilaveezhapoonchira Release: Ilaveezhapoonchira
Soubin Shahir is the hero in the film, which is the main location of ‘Ilaveezhapoonchira’, an isolated tourist area located in Kottayam district. The film is directed by Shahi Kabir. Sudhi Koppa and Jude Antony Joseph are the other lead actors in the film.
Joseph and Naayat, scripted by Shabi Kabir, a former police officer, garnered much attention and critical acclaim. This year’s state award also went to Shahi Kabir. ‘Ilaveezhapoonchira’ has already gained attention as Shahi Kabir’s directorial debut.
Cinematography by Manesh Madhavan, editing by Kiran Das and music by Anil Johnson. Nidhish’s story has been scripted by Nidhish and Shaji Marad.
Padma Release: Padma
Padma is the first film produced by actor and director Anoop Menon. Produced under the banner of Anoop Menon Stories, the film stars Anoop Menon, Surabhi Lakshmi, Shankar Ramakrishnan and Marina Michael. Apart from acting and producing, Anoop Menon also composed the story, screenplay and dialogues.
