For the fourth time in the last five years the Kansas City Chiefs, reigning NFL champions, qualified for the Super Bowl, scheduled for Sunday 11 February in Las Vegas, beating the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 in the Conference final played yesterday Night.
The protagonists of the Chiefs match were, once again, Isiah Pacheco and Patrick Mahomes, currently considered the best quarterback in the league.
The San Francisco 49ers will challenge the Chiefs, who overturned the prediction by winning 34-31 over the Detroit Lions in the match at Levi’s Stadium. Detroit was the only one of the four teams left in the running to have never played in a Super Bowl and its ‘fast’ will continue despite last night having closed the first half of the game with a 24-7 lead.
Here too, the performance of the winning team’s quarter back, Brock Purdy, was decisive.
So the appointment is on February 11th in Las Vegas, where the Chiefs and 49ers will play the rematch of the 2020 Super Bowl in Miami, in which Kansas City won.
