Who is Nicaise Moulombi, appointed by decree of the President of the Transition, Second Vice-President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE), on October 25, 2023. A portrait of him is offered to you.
Born in the 1960s in Libreville (provincial capital of the Estuary, administrative city of Gabon), the former administrator and executive of the port and maritime sector of the Satram group, a sector which he left in 2002, after having held the functions of representative based in Libreville and contributed to the sub-regional and continental development of this group, he abandons
this one to play the leading roles within Gabonese civil society in reconstruction.
Holder of a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Nicaise Moulombi integrates with confidence into civil society. This new positioning as a defender of the environment and the protection of nature will naturally lead him to set up the Non-Governmental Organization, Healthy Growth Environment, a strong presence in the law and in the defense of nature.

In 2012, Mr. Moulombi defended the initiative of setting up a Network for the green economy and obtained this approval during the conference of ministers in charge of forests and sustainable development.
Two years later, in July 2014, during the Constitutive General Assembly organized in Libreville, he became the President of the Network of Civil Society Organizations for the Green Economy in Central Africa (ROSCEVAC), in the presence of the Secretary General. of ECCAS and the Ambassador, head of the European Union delegation.
In September 2014, he will be distinguished in the State Department’s program for transparency and good governance for all of his action by American cooperation accredited in Gabon.
Former President of the association group and Member of the Economic and Social Council of his country, this lover of the world of media and communication is also the owner of the Journal Croissance Saine Environnement, and the experience accumulated in major meetings attests to his strong personality and his intellectual independence.
