POSTNIKOL. What to do to remain a nation (part 13)
in 2024 from the very beginning, Nikol Pashinyan continued his large-scale and open war against the Armenian people, targeting the cornerstones, symbols and elements of their identity.
First, on New Year’s Eve, he tried to belittle the importance of spiritual authority by not broadcasting the address of His Holiness the Patriarch.
At the root of this meanness is not only the problem of jealousy (the authority of the spiritual authority is many times higher than the rating of the Pashinyan regime), not only the careful but clear counteraction of the Mother See to Nikol’s anti-national steps.
The main motive is deeper. the more spiritual the people are, the more national they are, and Pashinyan is the supreme achoyan of the national.
At the beginning of the year, the artificial, foolish and dangerous opposition of “Ararat vs. Aragats” was given a new charge.
To fight what is with what is lost is frankly immoral, because both are yours – how can you not forget your eldest son who was taken hostage, give him up, hang his photo on the wall and justify it with the desire to love the younger one. You can and should love one and not forget the other, because both are yours. A woman who has lost her right breast cannot forget it and focus only on her left breast, and even when she goes out in public, she tries to restore her visible integrity.
Then, through pocket historians, the equally dangerous and far-reaching trap of “the history of the Armenian people against the history of Armenia” is thrown into discussion. It is even more clear that the history of the Armenian people is the history of people, and that of Armenia is the history of the territory. By the way, the history of which Armenia, 29-800 square kilometers?… Who lived in that “Armenia”? After all, we don’t even have a “cadastre certificate” in Nikolay’s toxic perception. And can you wait, finish delimitation and demarcation, and then write “History of Armenia”? Agree, it’s funny, crazy, brain inflammation.
It is known that wars make nations out of peoples. This is what happened to our Armenians after the victorious end of the first Artsakh war. However, the opposite is also true. wars destroy nations, and after the tragic end of the 44-day war, the Armenian nation became a nation again. And after that, the ongoing creeping war against us, the reproduction of Nikol and the loss of Artsakh brought us down to an even lower level of the ethnic scale, the population.
All of Pashinyan’s efforts are aimed at emasculating us as an ethnic group at this very level, not allowing a high-level revival of identity. Why, some will ask, what is its purpose? the answer is on the surface. Even Samuel Huntington stated that national interests derive from national identity, and the lower the level of our identity, the more primitive our interests, aspirations, goals will be, and the easier and cheaper he will sell us in the global geopolitical market.
As a result, we have a situation where the person who happily became the Prime Minister of the Armenian nation in 2018 brought that same nation to the population level within 5 years and instead of leaving, he is trying to change the “I” of the 4500-year-old ethnos. This monstrous operation is not over yet, and the victim still has a chance to survive and punish the renegade. It will be a global tragedy if changing the “codes” of the nation is easier than Pashinyan’s.
Equaled to Judas by treachery and Herostratus by unhealthy lust for glory, Nicole has long been hopeless. And the Armenian people?
