Nivi Summer: From Bollywood to Business and a Hollywood Dream

Summer’s journey has been marked by both joy and sorrow. She recently experienced the loss of her beloved Chihuahua, Nina, who was 18 years old, during a house move. “My boys and I were just arriving at our new place when my darling dog took herself for a walk,” Summer shared,adding,”She was partially sighted and was run over by a car. I was heartbroken.”

Despite this profound loss, Summer emphasizes the strength she draws from her sons. “My boys are the two best things that have ever happened to me,” she stated. “I am a proud single mother – an empowered, independant woman who doesn’t rely on anyone.”

Raising a Budding Entertainer and DJ

Summer’s youngest son, Jax, appears to be following in her creative footsteps.”Jax is a force to be reckoned with,” she explained. “He’s so happy and funny. He has his mama’s genes as he’s already showing signs of being an entertainer, and he does amazing Indian and British accents.”

Her eldest son, Jed, is demonstrating his own talents as an aspiring DJ and a supportive brother. “He took to it after I started learning – he is also a real help to me around the house,” Summer noted. Jed’s domestic contributions include making his mother coffee each morning and enjoying cooking.

Beyond motherhood, summer has demonstrated entrepreneurial drive, launching two businesses since leaving a previous relationship known as “Shorty.” She is the owner of Extreme Stain Remover, a cleaning products company, and has recently acquired a beauty salon in Ōrewa, north of Auckland.

The salon, currently operating as Sun Lounge and specializing in LED light therapy, is undergoing a rebranding. summer plans to rename it Summer Glow Beauty and expand it’s services to include hair removal and injectables. when asked about considering injectables for herself, Summer was candid. “I have thought about it as I understand prevention is better than cure with wrinkles,” she said. Though, she expressed concerns about the potential impact on her face, given the importance of her expressions for her acting work. She also noted her naturally youthful appearance,possibly linked to her ethnicity.

Manifesting a Hollywood Future

With a youthful appearance and unwavering determination, summer has her sights set on a return to acting in Los Angeles. “Looking ahead, I’m 100% manifesting Hollywood,” she enthused.”When I was ready to start acting again after being a fulltime mum, I manifested getting an international job, then I was cast in The Ridge.” She hopes this role will open doors to further opportunities.

For the immediate future, Summer is focused on Australia as a stepping stone. “I know I’ll get there,” she insisted. “As actors, we experience so much rejection and we get so many kicks in the gut, but we must keep picking ourselves up and moving on. One day, everything will click.”
