No clear decision has been reached on Iran’s nuclear weapons issue

by time news
A UN monitoring group has said that no clear decision has been reached on Iran’s nuclear weapons presence.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has accused Iran of using nuclear weapons for unauthorized production of nuclear weapons, and has refused to supply Iran with nuclear material.

Although Iran has denied the allegation, the issue has persisted for years. The UN nuclear watchdog is currently working to resolve the doubts.

In the first phase, in-person inspections are underway in Iran. But the head of the UN Monitoring Committee, Raffaele Croci, said that there is still a delay in reaching a clear decision regarding this issue, and a completely clear decision could not be reached.

It has also been reported that energy experts have decided to visit and inspect Iran by the end of this month. The International Atomic Energy Agency has expressed hope that the Iranian government will provide full technical explanations regarding nuclear power and weapons during these inspections.

The head of the UN has also said that it is up to the IAEA to prove beyond any doubt that the nuclear power supplied to Iran has not been used as a destructive force.

The UN monitoring group is also urging the Iranian government to provide a complete and credible explanation on how the 3,673.7 kg of enriched uranium stockpiled in Iran was reduced to 267.2 kg as of today.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has suspended the nuclear deal with Iran due to US insistence following allegations of improper use of nuclear energy. This resulted in the cessation of uranium supplies to Iran. As the Iranian government insists on re-implementation of the agreement, the controversy over the use of nuclear energy has intensified.

For this purpose, the Iranian government has been negotiating with the help of international countries since April last year. However, the International Cooperation Agency continues to accuse the Iranian government of not being transparent in this matter.
