CV Kumar has produced many films including ‘Attakkaththi’, ‘Pizza’, ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ and ‘Thegidi’. Apart from this, he has directed films including ‘Mayavan’ released in 2017, ‘Gangs of Madras’ released in 2018 and acted in Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘KP Ranasingam’.

He has been talking about small budget films and now on his social media page, he has said that small and medium budget films are affected by OTD.

In this regard, he posted on his Facebook page, “It seems that after Vikram, none of the films released in theaters till July 1 have even collected their print and advertising costs.

The decline in the number of viewers for small and medium budget films in theaters is due to the increasing influence of OTT platforms,” he posted.
