Nobel Prize in Economics 2021 to Card, Angrist and Imbens

The 2021 Nobel Prize in Economics, awarded by the central bank of Sweden, was awarded half to the Canadian David Card “for his empirical contributions to the labor economy”, while the other half is divided between the American Joshua D. Angrist of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dutch Guido W. Imbens of Stanford University, for “methodological contributions to the analysis of cause and effect relationships”.
