Mørk’s message ⁤revealed

Kristine Breistøl has played with Mørk in both Larvik and ‌Danish Esbjerg. The baby news thus ⁣came as a very delightful surprise after many years⁣ of friendship.

–⁤ Nora told us at a gathering. First and foremost, it is an incredibly nice message to receive. ‍It’s a bummer not‍ to ⁢have her here, ⁣but if there’s ever a time you don’t want someone at a championship, it’s due to pregnancy. There’s not much that’s more significant then that, the Györ player told Nettavisen.

The‍ handball girls meet⁤ the ⁤press⁣ the day before they kick off against ⁣Slovenia in ‌Austrian Innsbruck.

–‍ I also think that this comes at a good time, so she can get her body sorted. It has been a tough grind for her for many years now. I’m quite sure‍ she will come⁤ back with a better conditioned body when the ⁤time is right.

Yes, ⁢because Mørk had announced several weeks ⁤before the pregnancy news that she‌ needed to take a ⁢longer break from handball.⁣ This was for health reasons.⁣

There was ⁣therefore great uncertainty about whether the 33-year-old would make the European Championship, but shortly after came “the nail ⁣in the coffin.”

Herrem: – Picks up on things

Camilla Herrem has personally gone⁤ through two pregnancies and is one of many on the Norwegian team who have had children during their careers.

She ‌was not necessarily surprised ‍when ‍the revelation came from her teammate.

– You know it can happen, and ‌you pick up on things in a ‍group like⁤ this. Many here have long-term relationships, and several have thoughts ‌about having children. That’s how we understood it might ⁤be for Nora too, the veteran told ⁤Nettavisen.

And continues:

– The‌ timing for Nora was ideal, so I can’t say I was surprised in ‌that way.

– How do you think Nora will be as a mother?⁣

– I think⁢ she will be a very good mother, and I have my suspicions that she will be a handball mom. A little handball interest should ‌be fostered there,I would assume, she ‍says, laughing.
