A seasoned Licensed Professional Counselor is refocusing his extensive experience to provide targeted support for pastors, ministers, and their families within the North Texas Assemblies of God community. Dr. Jeff Logue brings over two decades of counseling expertise to address the unique challenges faced by those in religious leadership. His commitment stems from a deep, personal understanding of the ministry landscape.
A Lifelong Calling to Ministry Support
Dr. Logue’s dedication to supporting religious leaders is rooted in his own upbringing as a PK – a pastor’s kid. This formative experience provided him with an intimate understanding of the pressures and complexities inherent in the life of a minister and their household. He recognizes the often-overlooked emotional and psychological toll that ministry can take, not only on the pastor but also on their entire family.
“My personal experiences have shaped my approach to counseling,” a source close to Dr. Logue explained. “I understand the unique dynamics at play within a ministerial family.”
Extensive Experience in Counseling and Education
Prior to concentrating his efforts on the North Texas AG, Dr. Logue established a successful private practice and served as Chair of the School of Behavioral Science and Community Services at Nelson University (formerly Southwestern Assemblies of God University). This leadership role demonstrates his commitment to both the practical application of counseling principles and the education of future professionals in the field.
His 20+ years of experience have equipped him with a diverse skillset, allowing him to help individuals regain control of their lives and ministries. He aims to foster healthy clergy, churches, and communities through individualized support and guidance.
Focused Support for the North Texas Assemblies of God
Dr. Logue is now directing his attention toward serving The North Texas Assemblies of God, offering his expertise on a more localized level. He envisions a collaborative approach, working “one family, minister, and pastor at a time” to build resilience and well-being within the community. This focused strategy underscores his belief in the power of individualized care and the importance of strengthening the foundations of faith-based leadership.
This targeted approach promises to provide invaluable resources to a vital segment of the North Texas community, fostering a stronger and more sustainable future for its religious institutions and the families they serve.
