Not the horseradish of love, nor the pious tirtha of sacrifice; Jolly Chirayam’s mother in Katta Realai Vichitra

A mother who has to look after her five sons alone after the death of her husband, goes to work in a nearby baking unit. Although the elder boys have grown up, none have started to behave responsibly or earn….

When you hear this, the image of a middle-aged woman, synonymous with pity, may come to mind. But Jasmine in Vichitra deviates from that route.

Jasmin, who leaves home to live with the man she likes, faces every crisis that has come unexpectedly in her life.

Jasmine is going through the pain of losing her husband and being alone, but mostly she tries to remember her love. This is clearly seen in a shot of pouring tea into two glasses and drinking from one.

Jasmine, who loves her children very much, feels sad for them and gets angry with them. But this mother is also the closest person to them who knows their likes and dislikes.

It should be mentioned that Jasmine in Vichitra is the character who has most similarities with real life women in recent times.

Screenwriter Nikhil Ravindran and director Achu Vijayan have written and presented this character with many layers, although it looks like an open book at first glance.

Jasmin, who joins in the celebrations of her children on her birthday and wants to play football well, does not get out of her mind very quickly.

Along with making strong decisions and stating her objections, Jasmine expresses it all precisely. At one point in the film, she announces her decision in such a way that no one can say anything back and it becomes the final word.

Jolly Chirayat has played such a character in a good way. Jolie’s acting plays an important role in creating the impression of seeing a real-life mother. All the combination scenes with the children are an example of this.

Vichitram, produced by Dr. Ajith Jo and Achu Vijayan under the banner of Joy Movie Productions, hit the theaters on October 14. Shine Tom Chacko, Kani Kushmi, Lal, Balu Varghese and Jolly Chirayat are playing the lead roles in the film.
