Trichy East Division and Lalgudi Taluk residents are advised to brace themselves for a temporary power cut tomorrow as monthly maintenance work is scheduled to be carried out at several substations in the area.
Under Trichy East Division, Sirukamani substations will undergo maintenance work tomorrow. The areas covered by these substations include Pettavaitalai, Palangaveri, Valluvarnagar, Kamanayakkanpalayam, Kavalkarapalayam, Sirukamani, Perugamani, Andhanallur, Jeeyapuram Main Road, Analai, Tirupparaithurai, and Elamanur.
Trichy East Power Board’s Executive Engineer, Muthuraman, has confirmed that a power cut will be implemented in the areas of Kodiyalam, Ammankudi, and Mukkombu from 9:45 am to 4:00 pm. This inconvenience is necessary to ensure the smooth execution of maintenance work.
Simultaneously, maintenance work will also be carried out at Valadi substation in Lalgudi Taluk. The affected areas include Keezaperungaur, Velayuthapuram, Thandankorai, Valadi, D. Valavanur, Dharmanathapuram, Muthurajapuram, Melapperungavoor, Sirumarudur, Melavaladi, Pudukudi, Esanikorai, Appadurai, Kilmamarimangalam, Agalakanallur, Thirumangalam, Manthurai, Neikuppai, R. Valavanur, Ballapuram, Puthur Utthamanur, and Agricultural College.
Anbuselvan, the Executive Engineer of Lalgudi Power Board, has announced that a power cut will be enforced in Anchorage and its surrounding areas from 9:45 am to 4:00 pm tomorrow.
The temporary power cuts are part of the routine maintenance work conducted by the respective power boards to ensure the reliability and safety of the electrical infrastructure. Residents are urged to bear with the inconvenience, as this maintenance work is essential in preventing future power outages and malfunctions.
Power restoration is expected immediately after the completion of the maintenance work. However, in case of any unforeseen circumstances causing delays, residents are advised to make necessary arrangements and plan accordingly.
