Elon Musk has announced that starting April 15th, only verified accounts will be able to vote in Twitter polls.

Ever since Twitter took over the company, Elon Musk has been making a number of changes. Musk has been imposing various restrictions on Twitter to increase revenue. In particular, he has come up with the compulsion of payment for everything, such as the fee to get Blue Tig, the monthly fee to continue Blue Tig service, and the fee to watch without advertisements. In line with that, Twitter has announced a new rule for polling.

Accordingly, from now on Twitter has announced that only verified users can vote. In this regard, Elon Musk announced on his Twitter page that only verified Twitter accounts will be eligible to vote in the Twitter poll from April 15. He stated that this is the only simple way to prevent AI ports from voting, otherwise there will be no credibility in the voting.

Usually every one of Elon Musk’s Twitter announcements is viewed as odd. Earlier in his announcement, Musk had announced that Twitter would share ad revenue with Blue subscribers. He made these announcements in February, but almost two months later, they have not come into effect. Similarly, while Musk had said that Twitter would open source the company’s algorithm by March 5, that also did not happen.

But notifications regarding policy and Twitter features come into play immediately. In other words, only BlueTick’s paid subscription plans, which are profitable for Twitter, are in full swing. In the same way, netizens are saying that Elon Musk is forcing people to get a blue tick if they want to participate in the polls.
