NRBC Bank provides financial services to improve the quality of life of the underprivileged and backward communities. Loans are being distributed without collateral to make them entrepreneurs. Besides, NRBC Bank offers all types of banking services free of charge by opening an account for 10 rupees.

Loan checks were officially handed over to 16 small women entrepreneurs at Gaibandha on Saturday, March 2. During the loan distribution, Bangladesh Bank Executive Director (Grade-1) Abul Bashar, NRBC Bank Chairman Parvez Tamal, Head of Micro Finance Unit Md. Ramzan Ali Bhuiyan, Care Bangladesh Friendship Project Chairman Mark Nosbak and others were present.

Borrowers are Smt. Monika Rani, Ms. Meena Begum, Ms. Fansi Begum, Ms. Fatema Begum, Ms. Lovely, Ms. Sumi, Ms. Moslema Begum, Ms. Champa Begum, Ms. Shakila Akhter, Ms. Masuda Begum, Ms. Asma Begum, Ms. Roshana Begum, Ms. Jahura. Begum, Mrs. Jannatun Begum, Mrs. Mukta Begum, Mrs. Rosna Khatun etc.

Each is given a loan of 50 thousand rupees.

In the event, Bangladesh Bank Executive Director Abul Bashar said that according to the national policy and strategy, all the people of the country should be brought under financial services by 2026. Bangladesh Bank is working towards that goal. For this reason account opening is being offered at 10 rupees without any complications and about 1 crore accounts have been opened. The activities of NRBC Bank in disbursing microcredit in marginal areas, providing loans without collateral are commendable. NRBC Bank is conducting development and village-oriented activities of marginalized people. Bangladesh Bank has funds for village development, women development. All banks have the facility to disburse loans from these funds. Everyone should come forward to bring the marginalized people under financial inclusion activities.

Chairman of NRBC Bank Parvez Tamal said that NRBC Bank is working to improve the fortunes of poor people in villages. All types of banking services are being offered by opening an account for just 10 rupees. Loans are being given at low interest without collateral to create employment for the marginalized people of the village. NRBC Bank has already provided loans to 88 thousand small entrepreneurs across the country.
