ZTE’s brand company Nubia has announced the global version of its current gaming phone, Redmagic 8 Pro, which will be launched in two design versions, one transparent and with more memory, and the other with a more traditional back color and with a little less memory.

Both devices are based on Qualcomm’s new flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and in fact beyond the basic memory built into them, and the design, their configuration is identical. This means a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution with 120 MHz refresh rate and 960 Hz touch sampling rate, with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.7% and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The back also combines glass with lightweight aluminum around and in the middle of the cooling system area, and on its top there are two shoulder tabs that support a touch sampling rate of 560 Hz. There is also a light on the back that rotates at a maximum rate of 20,000 rpm, while in the Void version of the device it includes RGB lighting.

The battery offers a relatively large working volume of 6,000 mAh with charging at a maximum power of 65 watts, with the charger included in the deal. Above all, there is a new cooling system called ICE 11 that includes an evaporation chamber, layers of graphene, a plate for faster heat distribution, as mentioned also a fast fan.

The operating system is Android 13 on top of an interface called Redmagic 6.0 which of course contains dedicated elements for playing games and activating the device’s triggers. In addition, there is support for WiFi 7, an advanced sound system that includes several speakers and a DTS component as well as a 3.5 mm connection, an NFC component and Bluetooth 5.3.
