Pollachi: At the temples in and around Pollachi, the crucifixion ceremony took place yesterday. In turn, special worship was held for Lord Kurupagavan in the temples.
Ganapati Puja, Navagraha Homam, Abhishekam and Ornamental Pujas were held at the Mahaliamman Temple on the occasion of Kuruppearchi. Following, 1,008 Sagasranama Archana, Maha Deeparadhana took place. Devotees worshiped Lord Kurupagavan at the Thondamuthur Siddhar Baba Temple. .
In the evening, special poojas were held at the Pollachi Adisakthi Ganesha Temple, in the vicinity of Pollachi. Dakshinamoorthy blessed in decoration.
