OFFICIAL: Adrien Silva reinforces Rio Ave

Six years later, Adrien Silva is back in Portuguese football. The midfielder – European champion with Portugal in 2016 – was made official as a reinforcement for Rio Ave on Tuesday night.

At 34 years old, Adrien Silva has spent time at Leicester, Monaco, Sampdoria and Al Wahda (United Arab Emirates), an emblem he left in May 2023. As the More footballthe midfielder, former Sporting captain, signs until the end of the season.

Adrien Silva represented Sporting as a senior in two phases, between 2007 and 2010, and from 2012 to 2017. In between, the midfielder wore the colors of Académica de Coimbra and Maccabi Haifa, from Israel.
