Official: Nico Schluterbeck signed for Dortmund

Official: Dortmund announced today (Monday) the signing of Brake Freiburg and the German national team, Nico Schluterbeck. The 22-year-old stopper, who made 35 appearances for Freiburg this season, in which he scored four goals and added two assists, arrived today for medical tests at the yellow-blacks and after they finished the club announced the addition of Schluterbeck on the official Twitter page.

Schluterbeck has signed a contract with Dortmund until 2027, with an option to extend, and he will join it starting next season. The Yellows will transfer 20 million euros (in addition to the five million bonuses) to Freiburg and Scholterback, who is expected to be a key part of Dortmund’s defense along with Nicholas Zola, will earn about 4.5 million euros per season.
