Coach Imad Odeh submitted his resignation from coaching the Naft Al-Wasat team after a series of defeats that the team suffered in the Iraq Stars League.

The correspondent of the (INA) stated, “The resignation of coach Imad Odeh was made official in view of the modest results achieved by the Naft Al-Wasat team in the Stars League this season.”
Coach Imad Odeh previously supervised the training of the South Oil, Electricity, Electrical Industries, and Al-Mina teams, and even before assuming the task of coaching the Central Oil team, he was working as an assistant with the training staff of the Iraqi youth football team, led by coach Ahmed Kazem.
It is noteworthy that the Naft Al-Wasat team now occupies the 20th and last position in the Iraqi Football Stars League standings with 11 points, and it is the only team that has not tasted victory yet.
