He added, “The production rate of this well is doubled and reaches 1000, compared to other wells in this region, which reach 400-550 barrels, in addition to reducing the total cost of drilling, and saving approximately 3 million dollars and approximately 34 working days.”

He pointed out that “we seek to be a country that has leadership in the oil industry, gas production and local sufficiency, and also a source of gas, and the (EBS) company focused on cooperation with Iraqi oil companies such as the Iraqi Drilling Company and the Oil Projects Company, and this is what the ministry aims for.”
He thanked the “Middle Oil Company and the operator (EBS) for their great efforts and for developing and investing in the field using the latest technological methods,” stressing “the ministry’s support for all local and international companies to invest in and develop oil and gas fields, as the investment environment in Iraq is suitable.”

He pointed out that “the current field is the beginning of production and there are many wells, especially since the Chinese company had a major role in joint sustainability and the trend towards modern technologies, which gave encouraging investment results,” indicating that “all oil sites are subject to environmental control and are all environmentally covered and under control.”
