Olympic Flame Arrives in Hérault: Follow the Journey City by City

After crossing the Bouches-du-Rhône department the day before, the Olympic flame is in Hérault this Monday, May 13.

Jeanne Rossarie is the captain of the relay which carries the legendary torch in the department for this journey across France where 10,000 people follow one another to lead the Olympic flame to the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics on July 26, 2024.

While the relay began on May 8 in Marseille, here are the cities where you can watch the passage of the Olympic flame near you in Hérault until its arrival in Montpellier, the stage city, the last of the day.

France Bleu invites you to find the best moments in photos and videos throughout this day.

The expected personalities

Among the torchbearers expected throughout the day, the actor Artus, the decathlon world record holder Kevin Mayer, the Olympic volleyball champion Benjamin Toniutti, the singer Ycare, and the journalist Hervé Mathoux.

  • 08:00 – Millau Viaduct;
  • 08h40 – Millau ;
  • 11:30 a.m. – Mont-Saint-Clair;
  • 11:40 a.m. – Sète;
  • 3:30 p.m. – Juvignac;
  • 4:50 p.m. – Peyrou;
  • 17h25 – Montpellier.
