Omikron: The ban on international flights has been extended to January 31 Flights

New Delhi: The government has extended the ban on international flights till January 31. The government’s decision comes amid growing concerns about the spread of Kovid’s Omikron variant. Air services that meet the ‘Air Bubble’ standard will continue as before.

The DGCA has issued an official press release in this regard. The restriction does not apply to international cargo flights or flights approved by the DGCA.

Earlier, the government had decided to resume international flights from December 15. But the decision was reversed following the spread of the Omicron variant.
