(ANSA) – ROME, 03 OCT – The Tour della Salute arrives in Campania on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October. The traveling initiative which offers citizens the opportunity to undergo free consultations and participate in sporting activities in the squares, stops in Benevento, after having touched Lazio, Abruzzo, Umbria, Marche, Tuscany, Trentino Alto Adige, Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Molise and Emilia Romagna.
The Health Tour, now in its sixth edition, is promoted by ASC – Confederate Sports Activities, with the unconditional contribution of Eg Stada and the patronage of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies.
“From the STADA Health Report 2023 it emerged that over 4 out of 10 Italians do not undergo prevention checks due to a lack of awareness and sensitivity on the topic or due to limited economic resources”, stated Salvatore Butti, managing director of EG STADA Group.

Over the next weekend Piazza Castello will be transformed into a real health village. From 10am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday, 6 clinics will be set up where it will be possible to undergo free cardiological, dermatological, nutritional, rheumatological, psychological and veterinary checks. There will also be a desk dedicated to sleep apnea and a check-up station that will allow citizens to have various vital parameters measured which will be analyzed by artificial intelligence.
During the two days there will also be the ‘Health at the centre’ project, which aims to promote sporting activity by supporting a change in one’s lifestyles. Promoting this transformation are the Health Sports Centres, which will propose specific activities aimed at individuals considered vulnerable due to age, presence of pathologies or socio-economic situation.
