Thiruvananthapuram – The action against the employees of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation who protested by throwing the Onasadya in the garbage dump has been withdrawn. The suspension of seven permanent employees and dismissal of four temporary employees was withdrawn. It was decided to withdraw the action against them on Tuesday afternoon. In a discussion with Mayor Arya Rajendran and the CPM district leadership, they came to an agreement that no action should be taken against the employees.

On September 3, the employees protested by throwing the Onam food in the garbage dump, alleging that they were not allowed to carry out Onam celebrations. Later, the mayor accepted the health inspector’s report and took action against the 11 people based on it.
