Tyler Hilton and Megan Park Announce Split After 10 Years of Marriage
After a decade of marriage, Tyler Hilton and Megan Park have decided to separate, with the “One Tree Hill” actor confirming the news via an Instagram post on Friday. The couple, who share two young children, stated their priority remains focused on their family and co-parenting.
“I’ve never been super comfortable sharing personal information about our family life, but I’ve seen enough speculation online that I thought warranted clarity,” Hilton shared with his followers. “Some time ago, Megan and I decided to end our marriage. We continue to make the kids and co-parenting the priority.”
Hilton, 42, and Park, known for her role in “Secret Life of the American Teenager,” exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Malibu, California, in October 2015. They are parents to six-year-old daughter Winnie and son Benny, born in 2024.
The former couple first met in 2006 while working on the set of the indie film “Charlie Bartlett.” Their connection blossomed, leading to an engagement in 2014. Reflecting on their wedding, Park told Us Weekly the following year that the small ceremony was “everything we wanted it to be.”
“It was so nice after so many years together to finally celebrate our relationship with all of our friends and family,” she said at the time. “It’s nice to have everyone we love in one place finally for all these years to celebrate our love for each other.”
Prior to his relationship with Park, Hilton was romantically linked to his “One Tree Hill” co-star, Bethany Joy Lenz. In a surprising revelation from November 2024, Hilton shared that Lenz ended their relationship due to disapproval from her religious group.
Hilton concluded his recent Instagram announcement by requesting privacy during this transition, thanking his followers for their understanding. The actor’s statement signals a new chapter for both Hilton and Park as they navigate life as co-parents.
