Open call for the Code School in PILARES: Learn to program

The PILARES Community Education Subsystem has announced the opening of the call for the initial workshop “Computational Thinking”, as part of the educational offer of the Code School at the Points of Innovation, Freedom, Art, Education and Knowledge (PILARES) in Mexico City.

This free, in-person course is designed for people over 17 years old interested in learning to program.

It consists of various workshops, such as Computational Thinking (30 hours), Web Page Development (40 hours) and Database (30 hours), which are part of the common core of the Code School.

Subsequently, participants may choose to specialize in the Python or Java programming language.

In addition, information sessions will be held at each of the locations about the educational offer of the PILARES Code School, schedules and duration, on Friday, April 12 for the weekday scheme and Saturday, April 13 for the Saturday scheme. , at the time selected at the time of registration.

Classes will start on Monday, April 15 or Saturday, April 20, depending on the schedule chosen by the participants.

The PILARES Code School is a program of the Government of Mexico City that is offered in 150 PILLARSin collaboration with the Secretariat of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of Mexico City (SECTEI) and the Digital Agency for Public Innovation (ADIP).

The learning system was designed by professionals from the Software and Connectivity Factory of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation of the Government of Mexico Citywith a practical approach so that graduates have the knowledge that the technology market demands for free.
