“Grill den Henssler” presenter Laura Wontorra is a little surprised: the singer and entertainer Senna Gammour comes out with a confession that is remarkable for a cooking show candidate. “I hate cooking so much!” she says as she tries to beat the Henssler with her mango rice pudding. “Why?” Laura asks immediately, aghast. “It’s just not for me, I can’t do it,” answers Senna. Although the cooking coach Alexander Wulf attests that she is actually doing quite well. But Senna’s aversion to cooking apparently has deeper reasons.
“I once burned down my mom’s kitchen,” confesses the singer. When she was younger, she tried to bake fries in the oven, which probably ended in disaster. “It just didn’t go so well – and the kitchen was gone too,” says Senna. And grabs the Bunsen burner to flambé something in her pan. Maybe the bystanders should take cover. (sbo)
