Operation Lotus in Telangana too?; Sisodia wants to arrest Amit Shah – Amit Shah

by time news

New Delhi ∙ Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has demanded the arrest of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the wake of allegations that he tried to bring the ruling party MLAs to the BJP by offering them money in Telangana. The demand is to arrest Amit Shah if he is found to be involved in the alleged move by the BJP to sack ruling party MLAs.

Manish Sisodia pointed out that before this, BJP had tried to woo MLAs in Delhi, Punjab and eight other states. Sisodia also criticized BJP for choosing Telangana for this shameful political game. An audio clip was out recently suggesting that the BJP tried to sack MLAs from Telangana’s ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (recently renamed Bharat Rashtra Samithi). In this audio clip in which three people are having a conversation, a person called ‘Shah’ is mentioned.

“If the Shah mentioned in this audio clip is Union Home Minister Amit Shah, he should be arrested. If they try to buy MLAs through middlemen and it is found that the Union Home Minister is involved in that incident, it is a very dangerous situation for this country’ – Sisodia pointed out.

“Some of you had reported that three middlemen were caught with Rs 100 crore in a recent police raid in Cyberabad. Their pictures were also out. They were arrested in connection with ‘Operation Lotus’ which is being conducted by the BJP. Ramachandra Bharti, Simaiah and Nandakumar were arrested that day. The full audio clip of their conversation on October 28 was out. It is clear that those three, especially Ramachandra Bharti, are forcing TRS MLAs to join the BJP.’ – Sisodia pointed out.
