Oppo has broadened its product portfolio with the launch of the Pad 5 Android tablet and the Watch S smartwatch, unveiled alongside the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in China. Oppo Pad 5: A High-Refresh Rate tablet Experience
The Oppo pad 5 is centered around a vibrant 12.1-inch LCD display boasting a sharp 3000 x 2120 pixel resolution and a fluid 144Hz refresh rate. According to a company release,the screen achieves a peak brightness of 900 nits and supports Dolby Vision for an immersive viewing experience,all within a 7:5 aspect ratio.
Powering the tablet is the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, paired with the Immortalis G925 MC12 GPU, promising robust performance for both productivity and entertainment. The Pad 5 will be available with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage,ensuring ample memory and swift data access.
For photography, the Pad 5 features an 8MP camera on both the rear and front, catering to video calls and casual snapshots. A significant 10,420mAh battery fuels the device, supported by 67W wired fast charging. The tablet measures just 5.99mm in thickness and weighs 577g, and incorporates six speakers for enhanced audio. The Oppo Watch S presents a sleek, circular design with a 1.46-inch AMOLED display, offering a 464 x 464 pixel resolution and a striking peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The smartwatch is remarkably thin at 8.9mm and weighs only 35g without the strap.
Beyond its aesthetics, the Watch S prioritizes health tracking, incorporating sensors for heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation (pulse oximeter), electrocardiogram (ECG) readings, and even wrist temperature measurement.It also features dual-band GPS and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, running on ColorOS Watch 7.1.
Internally, the Watch S boasts 4GB of storage and is available in Vibrant Green, Rhythmic Silver, and Racing Black.
