The PAN-PRI-PRD coalition denounced to the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Attention of Electoral Crimes (FISEL) to the official candidates for the governorship of Puebla, the capital of that state, the Puebla governor and one of his electoral operators for influence peddling, bribery and pressure to vote with threats.

On behalf of the opposition alliance, the legal director of the National Executive Committee (CEN) of National Action Party (PAN), Raymundo Bolaños, pointed out that the complaint filed against Alejandro Armenta, José Chedraui, Sergio Salomón and Eukid Castañón are due to the latter’s statements that were made public on May 2 in a meeting he had with religious leaders.

This situation, Bolaños asserted, is prohibited in electoral matters and involves several crimes, “the first of which is the participation of religious leaders in the campaign, the second in these statements, what is done is to generate pressure, threats and intimidation for the vote of these religious leaders.

“And then they reveal the influence peddling network used by the Government of Puebla to free Eukid Castañón, solely for the purpose of intervening in the electoral process of Puebla, in the capital and in the state governorship,” he stated. the legal director.

He also demanded that action be taken once and for all on the complaints that have been presented by Acción Nacional, both in Puebla and in each of the entities of the Republic and demanded an active and investigating FISEL.

He explained that Castañón was an operator of previous governments, that in the government of Miguel Barbosa he was deprived of liberty for various crimes and that before the start of the electoral process the precautionary measure was changed and he was released.

“And today we know, from his mouth, that he is released only to operate the campaigns in Puebla, the gubernatorial one that Lalo Rivera is going to win and the one in Puebla capital that Mario Riestra is going to win, even with all this intervention and with all “This filth that is generated from the factious use of institutions,” said the PAN legal representative.

Federal representative María Elena Pérez-Jaén, who accompanied the presentation of the complaint, criticized that the head of the FISEL, Agustín Ortiz Pinchetti, is not aware of a single significant investigation.

“Unfortunately, I already asked about Mr. Ortiz Pinchetti, the prosecutor specialized in electoral crimes, and I was going to give him this (an alarm clock), so that he can wake up, because this man has cost us 20 million pesos and “He has done absolutely nothing,” he condemned.
