Dubai ∙ An exhibition of organic and natural products from the region opens at the Dubai World Trade Center. It is the largest organic produce trade fair in the Middle East. Dubai Food Diversity Sector Acting Assoc. Under Secretary Mohammed Ahmad Al Danhani inaugurated the event. The pavilions are located in halls 6 and 7 of the Dubai World Trade Center. Focuses on food, beverage, beauty, health and environment.
It is the only organic product fair in the region. In addition, the 4th International Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicine Conference and Expo is being held to promote a holistic and integrated healthcare system. Issues ranging from policy making to sustainability will be discussed. The Organic Industry Conference is the only venue where the organic, natural and product industries meet annually, officials said. Acceptance of natural and hygienic products is increasing in the UAE and elsewhere. Shinu Pillai, director of the exhibition, said that this was due to increased awareness about the benefits, increase in revenue and growth in environmental concerns.
